NEW DELHI: A body of a woman was found in an abandoned suitcase. The incident happened at Gurugram in Haryana. The preliminary investigation of the police said that she may have been strangled to death. As the body was naked, the possibility of rape cannot be ruled out and the matter will be clarified only after the post-mortem, the police said.

DCP Deepak Saharan said the woman had burn marks and there were injuries on her private parts showing sexual abuse. The police are examining the CCTV visuals installed near IFFCO Chowk in Gurugram. Seeing a suitcase on the road, the auto drivers informed the police. The body was found in a search conducted by the police.
