MALAPPURAM: A woman stabbed her husband to death in Manjeri. Kunhi Mohammed (65) of Manjeri Narangathodi, was stabbed to death by his wife Nafeesa with a knife. The police have taken her into custody.

Initial reports said a dispute that broke out between the two on Wednesday ended in the murder. The neighbours who came there after hearing a noise found him lying with stab injuries. Though they rushed him to a private hospital in Manjeri, his life could not be saved. The body was later shifted to Manjeri Medical College Hospital.

The couple’s neighbours said there were constant fights between the two. Nafeesa who was taken into custody is being interrogated in detail.
