THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader K Muraleedharan criticized Perumbavoor MLA Eldhose Kunnappilly, who is absconding after a case of abuse was registered against him. He responded that every party has such deviants.

Muralidharan also stated that his personal opinion is that there was a delay in the party's action against Eldos Kunnappilly. KPCC had earlier sought an explanation from Eldhose Kunnappilly. KPCC president K Sudhakaran had stated that severe disciplinary action would be taken if an explanation was not given by October 20.

Meanwhile, the Thiruvananthapuram Additional District Sessions Court will pronounce its verdict on the MLA's anticipatory bail plea on Thursday evening. If the bail is denied, the police will move to arrest him as soon as possible. A lookout notice will also be issued. Sections including attempt to murder have been charged against the MLA.
