v-muraleedharan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said that the state government's silence on the new revelations of Swapna Suresh is mysterious. He also demanded that the government should take immediate action on the allegations. He also responded that the Chief Minister cannot hijack central agencies.

"We saw a soldier getting tortured by policemen in the police station. Let the people judge where Kerala is heading. The state government is protecting the policemen who are with the CPM. It appears that police officers are appointed by CPM district secretaries," he said.

"The governor's fight is against the move to illegally appoint relatives of ministers and CPM leaders in universities. An attempt is being made to fill the universities of Kerala with communists. The government will not be able to bring the governor under its control through intimidation. Let the Chief Minister read and study the Supreme Court judgment that appointments should be made only by following the UGC rules," Muraleedharan added.
