THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Amidst the ongoing spat between the Governor and the government, the Left Front is all set for a public protest. The Left Front will hold a meeting today to form an open protest against Governor Arif Mohammed Khan's anti-government stance. The meet will be held at the AKG Centre at 11:30 am. The CPM have decided to undertake an extensive campaign against the governor as the statement between him and the government is escalating. The meet is convened to decide on the protests programme.

Meantime, the governor had levelled harsh criticisms against the ministers in the past few days. The Governor's remark was that Minister Rajeev was ignorant. Governor Khan said that the minister does not know about law and the constitution. People are leaving out because people like them are ruling. Only the court has the power to review the actions of the Governor. It should be examined under which circumstances he said it. Khan also clarified that he has the power to intervene if the constitution is ruined.

The governor also criticised Finance Minister K N Balagopal. The Governor mocked that the minister should not take a class for him on education, which generates income by selling liquor and lotteries. The government thinks that development is alcohol and lottery. The governor also said that Kerala is ashamed of finding revenue like this. The governor was releasing the book ' C H Muhammad Koya: Ariyakadhakal’ penned by former additional advocate General V K Beeran.

The governor also warned that if the government exceeds the limit, will have to face criminal action. The court has the power to stop and correct his actions. A minister who thinks the communist constitution is bigger, another who speaks the language of Pakistan. This is all what is happening here. Kerala surpasses Punjab in use of drugs.
