spat

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The LDF has decided to stage a state-wide dharna against Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. Protest programmes will be held in front of Raj Bhavan and various centres in the state on November 15. CPM state secretary M V Govindan informed that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will also participate in the dharna organised in front of the Raj Bhavan. With this, the ongoing spat between the governor and the government, which has been going on for a long time, has reached the streets.

Protest programmes will be held in various centres of the state. The spat between the governor and the government started when the former expressed strong displease in the appointments in universities and in the opinions of ministers. M V Govindan said that he will not respond to Swapna's allegations against CPM leaders including former ministers. He said that allegations are a continuation of the story and there is no obligation to respond to it always. Govindan opined that the opposition is behind Swapna's allegations. He responded to the media that these allegations are to divert from the gold smuggling case.
