THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Higher Education Minister R Bindu said the governor is making efforts to degrade the state. The minister said the governor is in the outdated feudal era and is interfering in the higher education sector in a manner of threat.
The governor’s post was seen in high regard until now. He threatened to sack the ministers. She said that she did not come to the public arena eyeing a ministerial berth. She said the Governor's stance of disrupting the daily activities of the universities is unfortunate.
The meeting to analyse and implement the three commission reports in the field of higher education will be held in the next few days. Kerala's higher education sector is going for a big change. The governor who is supposed to help with that is working in Kerala on the instructions of the RSS. The governor has issued this fatwa with malice. The minister stated that if the governor is trying to destroy the secular values that have been upheld so far, will fight it at any cost.
The minister also criticized the opposition's stance on the Governor's actions. The opposition supporting Governor's actions is not good for Kerala, she said.
