KOCHI: The police have intensified search for the husband of the woman murdered in Elamkulam and hiding the body in a plastic cover. The investigating team suspect her husband, a migrant worked identified as Ram Bahadur to have left Kerala. The proofs submitted to the house owners were found to be fake. With this, the police suspect whether their names are correct.

Days old body was found wrapped in a plastic cover in a rented house near Chelavanoor in Elamkulam, Kochi the other day. The woman dead and her husband were living in a rented house for the past one year. Her husband Ram Bahadur was working in a hair-fixing firm in the city. No one was seen outside the house for the past few days. Neighbours informed the house owner after a foul smell started emanating from the house. Following that, the police reached the spot. The inquest proceedings of the woman will be held today.
