THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: While the ongoing battle between the state government and the Governor is intensifying, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has repeated the 'Pippidi' (tricks) usage phrase. Speaking at the higher education seminar in Thiruvananthapuram, the Chief Minister said that the government will not back down or turn back in fear if anyone comes up with any tricks.

"While the state government is making efforts for the advancement in higher education, some people are trying to prevent it. This government will not back down or turn away in fear upon seeing such attempts. Those who view the secular democratic alternative with intolerance will come up with many tricks. However, this government will go ahead with its efforts," the CM said. He also said in his speech that some people are trying to divide the campuses by communalizing them.

The other day, the governor had mocked the Chief Minister's 'pippidi' usage.
