KOCHI: The Perumbavoor police have arrested four men who allegedly committed fraud by disguising themselves as police officers. The arrested persons are Marampally natives Manaf (32), Rajan (49), Mudikkal native Zulfikar(28) and Vengola native Ansar (49).

The incident took place near the Beverages outlet near Pathipaalam. The police caught them while they were robbing the mobile phones and purses of two migrant workers by pretending to be policemen. Police said that Rajan and Zulfikar are accused in many other cases.
