PALAKKAD: A 54-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the flat. She has been identified as Sunitha of Nenmara. The incident happened Thursday morning at 4 am. She jumped from the flat near Kadamkode Highway.

The divorced woman was staying with her daughter in the flat. Her close relatives said some family issues were there for quite some time. The police are examining the CCTV visuals of the building. The visuals show that there was no one nearby when she jumped from the flat. The police do not suspect any foul play in the incident. The body has been shifted to Palakkad District Hospital.
