KOOTHUPARAMBU: Some crucial information has surfaced in the murder case of Vishnupriya. The police in their remand report produced in the court said Vishnupriya and Shyamjith were in a relationship for five years.

Vishnupriya ended her relationship with him recently and became close with another youth in Ponnani. She was killed on October 21 between 10 and 12 noon. Shyamjith reached her house when she was video calling this youth in Ponnani. She told him that Shyamjith has reached home and will do something. Her phone got disconnected soon. He hacked her on her neck and legs after entering her bedroom.

Meantime, Shyamjith was taken to Koothuparambu to collect evidence. He was taken to the shop from where he bought the weapons to kill her. He bought the weapons like hammer, gloves, cycle screw from a shop in Koothuparambu on October 19 at 3 pm.
