THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rajaji Nagar native Roshan, who lost his hearing aid worth lakhs, will get a new hearing aid, thanks to the intervention of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.
Mayor Arya Rajendran will go to Roshan's house at nine o'clock tomorrow morning and hand over the new hearing aid. The Corporation is gifting the new hearing aid to Roshan with the help of KIMS Hospital. Arya Rajendran had earlier announced through her Facebook post that the Corporation will take steps to buy a new hearing aid for Roshan if he did not get back the lost hearing aid.

Roshan, a Plus Two student, lost his hearing aid worth Rs.1.5 lakh along with his school bag two days ago while he was traveling on a bike with his father. The Facebook post shared by Roshan's mother seeking help to find the lost hearing aid was widely circulated through social media and reported in the news media as well. The mayor intervened in the matter after noticing this.
