THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the investigation into the death of Sharon Raj, it was found that his girlfriend Greeshma (22) had started trying to kill him much before. She had mixed copper sulphate in an ayurvedic potion given to Sharon. This became clear in the statement of the doctor who conducted the postmortem. The contradiction in Greeshma's statement and the scientific investigation helped to prove that the girl was the culprit.
Sharon did not say anything suspicious about the girl in his statement to the magistrate and the police when he was under treatment after taking the potion and became seriously ill. In the past, Sharon had vomited and felt sick after consuming juice. The family of the young man said that this may be because the girl tried to kill him. Once he fell ill and was taken to Parassala Hospital, where he was cured.
Sharon's father alleged that not only Greeshma but also her parents were involved in the murder of her son. It was also false that Greeshma told Sharon that when she gave juice to a autorickshaw driver, he felt unwell. It is indicated that there was no such auto driver. Sharon Raj's father said that his son got justice and that this should not happen to any family again.
