THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The bottle of pesticide mixed in the ayurvedic medicine in Sharon Raj murder case in Parassala, has been found. The bottle was found from the bushes adjacent to the pond near Greeshma’s house in Ramavarmanchira. While collecting evidence, Greeshma’s uncle Nirmal Kumar showed the place where he threw it. Greeshma after mixing the pesticide which was in the white bottle with pale green cap had thrown the bottle in the land nearby. Her uncle took the bottle from there and threw it in the bushes near the pond.
Greeshma's mother Sindhu and uncle Nirmal Kumar were arrested today after their involvement in the crime was proved. Investigating officer DySP Johnson informed that the bottle recovered will be sent for chemical test. Evidence will be collected again from Greeshma’s house in presence of her. Greeshma's mother and uncle were brought for evidence collection around 12.30 pm. The accused were taken to Parassala police station and later to Palukal police station in Tamil Nadu. The accused were taken to Tamil Nadu as her house is in Kanyakumari.
The Kerala Police along with Tamil Nadu Police controlled the huge mob that came to witness the collection of evidence. Greeshma confessed to have committed the crime after ten hours of interrogation. The role of her uncle’s daughter will also be probed. The police had registered a suicide attempt case against Greeshma. The Neyyattinkara magistrate reached the hospital and remanded Greeshma undergoing treatment in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.
