THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have sealed the house of Greeshma, the accused in the Sharon murder case. Greeshma's mother Sindhu and uncle Nirmal were brought to their house in Ramavarman Chirai in Kanyakumari for evidence collection. Plastic bottles and herbicide labels were found here.

The police brought the two accused to their residence today at 12:30 noon. The locals had gathered on the information that they were being brought. Nirmal was first taken to the pond near the house. He told the police that he had left the bottle of herbicide used to poison Sharon here.

After recovering the bottle, the accused were taken to the back of the house. This is where the herbicide label was found. A pile of plastic bottles had residue of a greenish liquid. The investigating officers said that it will be investigated.

The collection of evidence was completed by 3 pm. As the main accused Greeshma was not brought for evidence collection, the house was not searched today. Investigators have also taken into custody the scooter in which the accused left with the herbicide.

Last day, the police took Greeshma's mother and uncle into custody in connection with the case. Both were arrested for trying to destroy evidence. The investigation team assumes that Greeshma's father did not know anything about the murder.

Greeshma killed her lover Sharon to marry a soldier. The reason behind the murder is that Sharon did not withdraw from the relationship despite threats of suicide, and the fear that he might give Greeshma's private pictures and videos to her fiance.
