Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said that linguistic diversity is India's pride. The minister took a stand on social media on Kerala Piravi Day amid the ongoing debate over the national language. According to Muraleedharan, the mother tongue is close to the heart of every human being. He also stated that the Prime Minister himself has explained that every Indian language is a part of the country's pride.
The Union Minister also said that the Kerala model should rise from the decays. 'In the era of self-reliance, Kerala should be able to progress towards self-reliance.
We must work together to make maximum use of the possibilities of the state,' Muraleedharan wrote.
