According to the statement, Eldhose Kunnappilly had phoned her on the morning of 9 October and asked her to withdraw her complaint. He summons her to talk about these matters and said he will send a car to pick her up and threatens to harm her mother and brother if she refuses to come.
The MLA joined her in the car at Palayam. Later, they went to a lawyer’s office at Vanchiyoor, where he and three lawyers threatened her.
The victim said that they locked the door of the advocate’s room and assaulted her demanding that she withdraw her complaint. They also offered her money. When she refused to sign a stamp paper saying that she leveled false charges against Eldhose Kunnappilly, they assaulted her brutally. Her dress and hair were pulled. The back side of her dress got torn in the attack.
When Eldhose Kunnappilly failed to make her sign the document even after using force, he began to suffocate her with the shawl and pushed her to the ground. Meanwhile, a person who introduced himself as an online journalist took her visuals. He said that if the victim did not obey Eldhose Kunnappilly, she will be framed in a honey-trap case.
When the MLA and others were talking, she escaped from there and took an auto. However, the lawyers blocked the auto and transferred her to another car. After that, they took her to many places and upon reaching near a private hospital they pushed her out of the car.
The victim also says that she feared those who were with the MLA and that is why she did not say these things to the police.
