IDUKKI: A 31-year-old youth was arrested for abetting his wife to commit suicide. The youth arrested has been identified as Sharath Shashi Kumar (31) of Wagamon Kolahalamedu Shanghusseri. His wife Sharanya (21) committed suicide on July 12.

Her relatives had alleged that she took the drastic step following domestic harassment. He was arrested on the finding of having harassing her mentally and physically.

The two got married a year ago. This was his second marriage. His first wife had also committed suicide.
