While fans of Argentina erected a 30-feet-high cutout of Lionel Messi in the middle of the Cherupuzha river, Brazil fans have come up erecting a 40-feet-high cutout of Neymar. Now, Neymar, wearing his yellow jersey, can be seen standing with his head held high in front of Messi. All World Cup discussions and excitement of the locals are centred on these two massive cutouts. A video of fans carrying the cutout to the river and erecting it in the middle of the river has gone viral on social media.

Brazil fans are hoping that Neymar's cutout will go viral all over the world, just like Messi's cutout, which made waves in Qatar and then Argentina. While Argentina fans erected Messi's cutout at a cost of Rs 20,000, Brazil fans spent Rs 25,000 to erect Neymar's cutout.
