THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Lashing out at the state government, KPCC president K Sudhakaran said that only the value of Pinarayi Vijayan went down during the tenure of the Left government. Accusing the government of not intervening to bring the prices down, Sudhakaran said that Kerala is being ruled by Pinarayi Baba and 20 thieves. Sudhakaran was inaugurating the secretariat march and civil trial organized by the Congress against the government.
"People are not able to live peacefully. While there is the SFI and police hooliganism on one side, we have murders and violence on the other side. The legal system is damaged. The CM seems to be ruling for his daughter and family. He is complicit in all looting. There is no investigation on various allegations raised by the opposition such as the Sprinklr deal, sand smuggling etc. The Chief Minister remained like a servile even when Swapna Suresh made strong accusations. Have any Chief Ministers in India faced accusations like these? I had great respect for Thomas Isaac. I am now apologizing for that. Kadakampally Surendran stood in front of Swapna as if he is requesting her not to make further revelations. We also saw another leader drunk and half asleep.
Swapna's revelations are accompanied by documents, unlike the lies told by Saritha," Sudhakaran said.
"Pinarayi can exercise his dictatorship in the party. The people of Kerala will not accept it. Congress has a history of overthrowing British imperialism. There will be a storm of struggle against the Pinarayi government," he added.
Under the leadership of K Sudhakaran and DCC president Palode Ravi, 28 block congress committee workers of Thiruvananthapuram district marched from Palayam to the secretariat. Rajmohan Unnithan MP, KPCC Vice President N. Shakthan, Treasurer V. Prathapachandran, KPCC General Secretaries TU Radhakrishnan, KP Sreekumar, Mariapuram Sreekumar, GS Babu, G Subodhanan, Anad Jayan and others participated.
