THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM state secretariat has asked the Congress national leadership to clarify its stance on KPCC President K Sudhakaran's opinion that the Governor should ask the Centre to dissolve the state government. The CPM also alleged what RSS had in mind came out through K Sudhakaran’s remarks.

Sudhakaran said that the governor raised a serious issue on the gold smuggling case and if he stands by what he said, then the governor should ask the centre to dissolve the government. Sudhakaran also demanded that if not dissolved, then the centre should at least be directed to order an investigation. Sudhakaran made this controversial remark when he was talking about the governor's stance that if the people in the chief minister's office are involved in the gold smuggling case, then he would intervene legally. The CPM lashed out against this.
