THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A letter written by Thiruvanathapuram Mayor Arya Rajendran to CPM district secretary Anavoor Nagappan seeking list of CPM workers for 295 temporary vacancies in the Corporation has come out. The letter sent on November 1 on the Mayor's official letter pad became public through the WhatsApp group of some party leaders.
In the letter she addressed the district secretary as 'Comrade'. The letter also states that the priority list for the vacancies should be provided from the CPM district committee office. But the district secretary explained that he did not receive the letter. The letter signed by the Mayor contains information including the deadline. The opposition is raising the allegation that the mayor has violated her oath of office. 295 people will be employed on daily wages in Urban Primary Health Centres under the Corporation.
