THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Another letter discussing the appointment of CPM workers has come out after Mayor’s letter. It was sent by the Municipal Parliamentary Party Secretary D R Anil. In the letter sent to party secretary Anavoor Nagappan, it is said that the list of potential candidates for the nine vacancies in Thiruvananthapuram SAT Hospital should be forwarded.
The letter states that it has been decided to appoint staff through Kudumbashree in the rest centre built for patients’ aid in SAT Hospital and the list of Kudumbashree members who are eligible for appointment has been requested to be forwarded. The rest centre has nine vacancies including manager and caretaker. On October 24, DR Anil sent a letter to Anavoor Nagappan for appointment to these vacancies. The letter addressing him as ‘Comrade’ gives full details about the number of vacancies, qualification and salary.
The letter sent by Mayor Arya Rajendran to Anavoor Nagappan on 1st November has already come out. In the letter, the mayor stated that 295 temporary employees are being appointed in the municipal health department and requested that the priority list of the party should be forwarded for this. After this letter became controversial, strong protests are being held against the mayor and the party. Following this, another letter sent from the corporation in the same manner has come out.
