THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Finance Department has issued an order increasing DA by four percent to 38 percent for IAS, IPS and IFS officers in the state. This is with retrospective effect from last July 1. It is up to the state government to raise the DA of IAS, IPS and IFS officers in the Kerala cadre even though they are part of the All India Services.

The central government had earlier increased the DA of civil servants by making it 38 percent.
