THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC chief K Sudhakaran said they will move forward with a protest in the letter controversy. Mayor Arya Rajendran should resign and tender an apology, he said.

‘Serious lapse from her side. The CPM are justifying. If committed any wrong, should apologize to the society. Or else she should leave,’ Sudhakaran told media. She has given a weak explanation, added Sudhakaran.

Sudhakaran said that when the CPM leaders cut the forest, the mayor chopped only the bushes. The controversy is over the letter sent by Mayor Arya Rajendran on her official letterhead, to Anavoor Nagappan seeking the list to appoint party activists en masse in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.
