THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state secretary M V Govindan explained about the mayor’s appointment letter controversy and joining with the BJP in the Vizhinjam anti-strike protest. Govindan said the mayor herself has explained that the letter is fake. He said Mayor Arya Rajendran has given an explanation to the party regarding the incident. The mayor explained that the letter was not written and that it is fake. Let the home department examine the matter. Govindan responded to the media that backdoor appointment is not the method of the CPM or the Left Front.
Minister M B Rajesh himself said that 295 people will be given jobs through the employment exchange. Govindan said that if there are people preparing the letter, they should be found. He informed that the chief minister has taken a decision on the issue of retirement age and justified the CPM's participation with the BJP in the Vizhinjam strike.
The state secretary hinted that they would approach the Supreme Court against the governor, also said they would face the governor legally and constitutionally. The attitude of the governor is to go to any extent against the government. Therefore, the party is also of the same stand. They will try to unite against the governor with the people. Congress, BJP and other communal parties are standing in favour of the Governor to implement the BJP agenda against the Left and the government. KPCC president and leader of opposition are also arguing for the governor.
The state has a left-wing alternative government. There is an attempt to weaken non-BJP governments in the country. Trying to destroy the higher education sector by using the Governor, M V Govindan said the Raj Bhavan march will be held on November 15 under the leadership of the Education Protection Association.
