UDIYANKULANGARA: The police said the 'juice challenge' conducted earlier by Greeshma, the main accused in the Sharon Raj murder case, was a trial to prepare for the murder. Greeshma testified that she mixed a small amount of poison in the juice and had given it to Sharon several times. Meantime, the challenge before the police is to collect scientific evidence of the attempt to kill him by mixing poison in the juice. Many details have to emerge like which poison was mixed.
With Greeshma's statement, the suspicions of Sharon's mother strengthened. She had asserted that Greeshma had mixed slow poison in the juice given to Sharon several times. Sharon experienced vomiting and other discomforts several times over the past three months. Took him to the hospital at the end of September and when medicines were given, he regained health. He started experiencing the same problems after becoming close with her a second time, said his mother.
Greeshma gets emotional
Greeshma got emotional seeing the awards and trophies she got for her victories while collecting evidence. It is the first time after the arrest Greeshma was brought home to take evidence. Though there was a large crowd in the area including the local residents and media, Greeshma did not even look up. Greeshma's lawyer had also reached the place where the evidence was being taken.
To destroy evidence?
The suspicion that the stranger broke the seal and lock the previous day and entered her house to destroy evidence also strengthened. The preliminary conclusion is that no valuables went missing from her house. Palukal police is investigating the case.
The district crime branch officials also visited the house and examined it. Though it was a controversial case, not even a single policeman was deployed to guard the house sealed and locked to protect the evidence, shrouds mystery.
A few days ago, when Greeshma's mother Sindhu and uncle Nirmal Kumar were brought to the house for evidence, in the presence of the Tamil Nadu Police and Palukal Village Officer, the crime branch officials sealed the rear and front gates of the house.
