THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday criticised the Kerala Governor and the Central Government in harsh language. He alleged that the Centre is attempting coups using governors in states where horse trading by buying MLAs is not taking place.
"What is going on nowadays is an unconstitutional invasion to topple democratically elected governments. Privatization is taking place even in the most important sectors of the country. Even the public sector institutions, in which state governments have a stake, are being sold by the central government without prior notice. It was the state government that acquired the land for these institutions. Social justice and reservation are being denied in the private sector," the Chief Minister said.
