BHOPAL: An unemployed youth murdered his mother for not allowing him to get married. The incident happened at Koh-e-Fiza in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday. The woman dead has been identified as Asma Farukh (67). Her son Farhan has been arrested in the case.

Asma was staying with her two sons Farhan and Atah Ulla. Farhan, a BCom graduate informed his mother his interest in getting married. Asma asked him to get a job first and then get married. Enraged over it, he murdered his mother with a cricket bat. When Atah Ulla came home, saw his mother lying in a pool of blood and immediately rushed her to a hospital where doctors declared her dead.

The next day of the death, Atah Ulla saw his brother hiding a blood-stained cricket bat. When questioned it, he told his brother that Asma fell from the terrace. He later revealed to have killed her. He threatened to kill him if informed the cops. When the police questioned him, he admitted to have assaulted her with the bat.
