Actress Samantha recently opened up about her autoimmune disease myositis. In a recent interview as part of promotions for her new movie Yashoda, she got emotional about the rare disease she has been fighting. "I had reached the point where I felt that I could not take another step in my life. Looking back now, it's unbelievable", she said.

"Some days it was difficult to even get out of bed. It was a battle. But the illness is not life-threatening. I'm not dying anytime soon", Samantha said as her voice breaks down.

Samantha is suffering from myositis, an autoimmune disease that weakens the body's muscles. She dubbed for Tamil and Telugu for Yashoda even during her illness. The movie will hit the theaters on November 11. Samantha had shared pictures of dubbing on her sickbed on social media. Fans are concerned and are praying for their beloved actress.
