LONDON: A university student got arrested for throwing eggs against England's King Charles III and his wife Camilla. The 23-year-old man was arrested by the police on charges of disturbing public order. The incident happened when he came to unveil a statue of Queen Elizabeth in York.

“This country was built on the blood of slaves” and “not my king”, the student was heard shouting this while throwing the eggs. He threw three eggs at King Charles from the crowd. But the eggs missed the king and queen. Then King Charles continued interacting with people and received their greetings. The university authorities told the media that they will investigate the incident and take action against the student. The accused is now in police custody. Videos and pictures of the incident were circulated on social media.
