KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has called for action to prevent parking on footpaths. Justice Devan Ramachandran said that instead of filing cases, a change can be made by making people aware that the act is wrong. He also directed the concerned parties to inform the court of the steps taken in this regard.
The court gave the direction when the government stated that more than 3,000 cases had been registered for parking vehicles on footpaths on Banerjee Road in Ernakulam.
