KOTTAYAM: Nine girls who went missing from the Women and Children's Home in Manganam have been found at their relative's house in Koothattukulam. The girls were found to be missing on Monday morning when the warden went to wake them up. The broken part of the glass wall in the building was covered with cardboard. According to the police, the children tore off this part to get out of the building. Following this, they jumped over the wall to leave the compound. After learning about the disappearance of the girls through television, the staff of the bus on which the girls travelled contacted the Koothattukulam police. The children were found around 11.30 am. After presenting the children at the juvenile home, they were shifted to another centre under the leadership of CWC. Meanwhile, the shelter home officials said that the girls went missing when the security staff was not present.
