BENGALURU: A Yuva Morcha leader, who tried to smuggle MDMA into Kerala by hiding it in a doll, was arrested by the police in Bengaluru. The arrested are Paveesh, former President of Yuva Morcha Iringalakuda Constituency, and his associates.
They were caught during the scanner inspection while trying to send the doll filled with MDMA to Thrissur by courier. 88 grams of MDMA pills were found. The employees then informed the police. Three people, including Paveesh, were arrested from a flat in Whitefield. One of them is from Malappuram.
An investigation has also been started about Paveesh's connections in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, the BJP leadership explained that Paveesh was expelled from the party for posting criticism of the state leadership.
