NEW DELHI: CV Ananda Bose, who has been appointed as the Governor of West Bengal, told Kerala Kaumudi that he was dedicating the post of Governor to his daughter Nandita Bose who died of cancer five years ago.

There is no rest for Ananda Bose's phone for the last two days. The Civil Service Officers Institute at Vinay Marg, where he resides, is also crowded with visitors.

While giving an interview to Kerala Kaumudi, his friend Suresh Vaidyan came and said that there was a phone call from Kolkata. It was West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who was on the line. Ananda Bose talked privately with the Chief Minister for some time. When the CM inquired about his convenient time to take the oath, Ananda Bose replied that he was willing to take the oath at the convenience of the CM. Later, the chief minister's representatives came with bouquets. Ananda Bose will go to Kolkata by next Monday. He is likely to take the oath on November 21st or 23rd.

On Thursday, Ananda Bose met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He will have one more meeting with Amit Shah.
