AHMEDABAD: Bhupendra Patel will continue as Chief Minister of Gujarat for the second term. He will take oath as Chief Minister on December 12. A 20-member cabinet will take over under the leadership of Bhupendra. Patel's name was officially announced as the leader of the assembly party at a meeting held at the party headquarters 'Shri Kamalam" on Saturday.

Bhupendra Patel won by 1.92 lakh votes from the Ghatoldiya constituency in Ahmedabad. Bhupendra Patel resigned on Friday as part of the formation of a new government. The BJP secured a historic victory in Gujarat by winning 156 seats in the 182-member assembly.
