BHOPAL: A man killed his fifteen-year-old son by suffocation to hide his secret relationship with a relative. This happened within the limits of Barotha Police Station in Madhya Pradesh. The police arrested the boy's father and his relative, a thirty-five-year-old woman.

The 45-year-old accused was in a relationship with the woman for five years. The accused told the police that the 15-year-old saw duo last Monday in a compromising situation and this was the reason for the murder.

The 45-year-old committed the murder because he was afraid that his secret relationship would be revealed. In order to stop his son from resisting, he first chopped off his hands and later strangled him using a rope. He then packed the severed hands in a plastic bag and threw it in a borewell.

The body was found on Tuesday. After identifying the child, the father was interrogated. His statements were contradictory. When the police asked why he did not file a complaint with the police after his son went missing, the accused confessed to the crime.
