THRISSUR: A person has been arrested for threatening a youth and then robbing him of stamp paper, laptop and money. The accused Kannan alias Sreekumar (35), a Peroorkada native, has been arrested by the police. The incident happened at November 11 on the road in front of the Bishop House in Thrissur Mannoothi Bypass.

The accused Ajmal, a native of Thrissur, and Sreekumar, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, were traveling to prepare an agreement related to a land deal. On the way, they had an argument with the complainant NK Siddhi, a native of Ariyanoor, on the road and threatened to kill him using a knife. Then they stole two blank stamp papers, a laptop worth Rs 38,000 and Rs 28,000.

Then the complainant went to East police station and lodged a complaint. The accused has been remanded by police. There are many cases against the accused in Nedumangad and Peroorkada police stations.
