THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Heavy rainfall will continue in the state till Wednesday. Cyclone Mandous, which made landfall in Tamil Nadu, formed a cyclonic circulation and entered the Southeast Arabian Sea via North Kerala and Karnataka coasts. Rain will be stronger in central districts. Southern districts will receive intermittent rain. By Wednesday, rains will reduce as the cyclone strengthens into a low pressure and moves away from the Indian coast. Yellow alert has been declared today in Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram districts. Fishing is not allowed on the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
