Actor Hareesh Peradi came to the fore harshly criticising Cultural Affairs Minister V N Vasavan for his remarks against actor Indrans. The actor described the controversy as the minister's ignorance. In a Facebook post, Peradi said that every people choose what they deserve...presently our fate is to see like that.

Vasavan’s remark body shaming actor Indrans has drawn flak. The minister’s remark compared Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and actor Indrans to show the congress party’s present state of affairs.

‘Congress is a party that can do wonders in India at any time, even if it reaches zero... because it has no proper organizational system... anyone can question anyone... no matter how many groups are formed….’
