KANNUR: Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leader Abdu Rahiman Randathani has said that made a controversial statement against mixed classrooms and sex education. Criticizing the proposed education reforms, he said it is against the culture of the country and children are being taught about masturbation and homosexuality in the name of sex education. He added that sex education should not be imposed. Abdu Rahiman was speaking at the UDF protest held in Kannur.
"Girls are very important in the field of education. In any college, 70-80 percent are girls. They have taken leaps in the education sector. This isn't because they sat with boys. They claim great changes in the field of education by seating boys and girls together. Now listen to the topics they are teaching- masturbation and homosexuality'', Abdu Rahiman said.
