ALAPPUZHA: A woman was subjected to black magic for weeks and the people behind it have been arrested. The incident happened at Bharanikkavu in Alappuzha. The arrested are the woman’s husband, two of his relatives and the sorcerers.

Aneesh and his relatives subjected his wife to black magic in Nooranad. She was subjected to physical and sexual abuse for weeks by the sorcerers. The woman filed a complaint with the police as she was unable to bear the torture. Six were arrested soon and among them include the sorcerers identified as Sulaiman, Anwar Hussain and Imamudeen.

This was the woman’s second marriage to Aneesh. The woman is working as a data entry operator in Technopark. The sorcerers were summoned to their house as they believed she possessed some evil spirits.
