KOCHI: While the Smart City projected stagnated without growing beyond a single building, the adjacent Infopark is witnessing major development involving large IT companies. Now, there are 92 million square feet of buildings on 260 acres. There are sub-centres at Koratti and Cherthala on 63 acres. 560 companies in Infopark employ 63,000 people.

Meanwhile, Infopark, a state government organization, has progressed over 17 years. The Smart City area is adjacent to Infopark in Kakkanad.

66 acres at Cherthala Pallipuram. Started operation in 2011. Chaitanya, the first building, is 2.4 lakh sq.ft
