THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that there is no dispute between the Centre and Kerala in connection with the development of national highways. Lashing out at the media, the chief minister said that some media persons were misinterpreting the statement of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
"Some media persons are misinterpreting Gadkari's statement. No one will lose their homes because of development activities. The previous UDF government did not do things properly. As a result, the state had an additional liability. The government is ready to take up the national highway development as an agenda and complete it," CM said.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the face of Kerala will change by 2025. "The Centre's aim is to create good infrastructure. The three industrial corridors that are coming up in the state will contribute to the industrial development of the state," he said.
