THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI(M) leadership believes that the Governor can be tamed by using the Governor’s policy address in the legislative assembly. The communist party leadership believes that the decision must be taken only after seeing what he is going to do. Earlier, bills passed by the assembly has been delayed by the Governor.
The bill brought by the government to remove the Governor from Chancellorship will be send to the Raj Bhavan in a few days.
The Governor has not signed the bill pertaining to increase the number of seats in the Search Committee.
The government and the party have decided not to hold talks with him unless he change his negative attitude. That is why the CM and the ministers did not accept the governor’s invitation for dinner during Christmas.
The government has not taken a strong stance against Governor and keep its door open for dialogue.
The Governor has already told that he would send the bill, which aims to curtail the power of the providence.
