HYDERABAD: The 17th All India Conference held in Hyderabad elected VP Sanu (Kerala) as the SFI All India president and Mayukh Biswas (Bengal) as the general secretary. Sanu is elected for the third consecutive term and Mayukh for the second consecutive term. It is the first time that a person has been elected to the post of president for the third consecutive term.
The vice presidents are K Anusree (Kerala), Sangeetha Das (Assam), A Ashok (Andhra Pradesh), Nagaraju (Telangana), Nitheesh Narayanan (Centre) and Pratikur Rahman (Bengal). Adarsh M Saji (Centre), PM Arsho (Kerala), Sreejan Bhattacharya (Bengal), Deepsita Dhar (Centre), Sandeepan Dev (Tripura) and Dinit Danda (Centre) were elected as joint secretaries. Niruben (Tamil Nadu) and Subhash Jhakar (Rajasthan) ), Amit Thakur (Himachal Pradesh) and Aishi Ghosh (Delhi) were elected as central secretariat members. There is one vacancy in the 19-member committee. There are nine members from Kerala in the 83-member central committee.
