NEW DELHI: BJP has lashed out at Rahul Gandhi over his remark in connection with the Chinese incursions into Indian territory. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia has asked the Congress to expel the former party president for trying to demoralize the Indian Army. The BJP was responding to Rahul Gandhi's statement that the Chinese forces were killing Indian soldiers during the incursion attempt in Tawang.

"If Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is not acting under remote control and if the opposition stands with the country in the current situation then Rahul Gandhi should be fired. Rahul Gandhi's remarks are of a demoralizing nature for the Indian Army," Bhatia said.

"Rahul Gandhi is trying to destroy the morale of every Indian's proud soldier. Unlike in 1962, the country now has a strong leadership. In the last eight years, not even an inch of land in the country has been encroached upon by anyone," he added.
