KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Monday issued some directions to the KSRTC to ease travel difficulties for devotees visiting Sabarimala. The High Court Devaswom bench directed that a barricade should be erected at the KSRTC booking office in Pamba. The bench demanded that there should be at least 10 buses in Pamba during peak hours and at least three buses during off-peak hours. The court intervened considering the increase in traffic during the Mandala Puja-Christmas holidays.

The District Collector informed the High Court that a barricade would be installed in front of the booking office. The court also directed the contractor to take steps on war footing to increase the parking facility at Nilakkal.
