KOCHI: A night life is not needed, said the Health University. The university in the affidavit filed in the court said one will attain maturity only at the age of 25 and anything said before that cannot be accepted.

Hostels are not tourist homes. One is staying in the hostel to study and not to enjoy the nightlife. One need not step out during night. Should sleep at the time of sleeping.
Libraries in colleges close at 9 pm. There is nothing wrong in saying that a student should enter the hostel at 9.30 pm. The affidavit of the university said that many studies done internationally have clarified that a person becomes mature at the age of 25.

The students of Kozhikode Medical College approached the high court stating that girls are not permitted to enter the hostel after 9:30 pm. The University of Health has filed an affidavit against this.
